2014 Teddy Bear Hospital at Medical Center of the Rockies
Kids can get a little TLC for their favorite stuffed animals or dolls from 10 a.m.-2 p.m. Sept. 27 at the sixth annual Teddy Bear Hospital event at Medical Center of the Rockies in Loveland. Parents and children alike will be able to learn about being healthy, staying safe and preventing injuries at the event. Emergency room doctors, nurses and technicians will be on hand to perform mock procedures on the stuffed critters and dolls to show the children what a ?typical? visit would entail from check-in to discharge. This year?s free event will include games along with booths and activities provided by the following agencies and organizations: ? Loveland Fire Department ? Healthy Kids Club ? MCR Therapy dogs ? Air Link ? UCHealth EMS ? Thompson Valley EMS

The event will be held near the emergency department, which is located at 2500 Rocky Mountain Ave., northwest of the intersection of Interstate 25 and U.S. 34. Signs will guide visitors to the location.
