| Texas Hold'em Poker Tournament and Games Fundraiser The Independent Order of Odd Fellows Loveland Lodge #36, a non-profit organization, is hosting a fundraising event at our lodge hall, the old Majestic Opera House in downtown Loveland. Built in 1903, the Majestic Opera House was a cultural highlight in downtown Loveland for a grand total of seventeen years. It then participated in the community in a rather different way as a saloon and dancehall for three years before being acquired by the Odd Fellows in 1923. Since then, the street level area has served as space for a variety of businesses including JC Penney. The space is now used as an event center for the community. Weddings and a spectrum of classes use the space as well as small business markets, which we host periodically. Unfortunately, the roof on our building is starting to fail. We can only patch leaks for so long. Come to our family fun night and help us raise money to repair our roof. We are hosting a free Texas Hold?em Poker tournament downstairs and Sudoku, Bingo and other board and strategy games upstairs. There will be prizes for top finishers in the poker tourney. A suggested donation of $15 would be appreciated, but certainly not required. Persons under 18 may not join in the Poker tournament, but all people 10 and up are welcome upstairs. All money collected will go to the roof repair fund. Thanks for your help preserving this Loveland landmark!
