DESCRIPTION:Men and women from around the region will soon have the opportunity to awaken their inner voice and begin a new story for their lives at two FREE preview events at Midtown Arts Center.\n	\n		On November 15 and 29\, Loveland-based Neuroscientist\, Author and International Speaker Dr. Joan C. King will share her wisdom through interactive presentations. These complimentary events will provide a small taste of what is in store for audiences in her six part series entitled: "Create Your NEW STORY." Her presentations are conversational and grounded in science.\n\n		They demonstrate how every person has distinct knowledge\, as if encoded in the cells of their body\, waiting to be discovered.\n\n		 \n	\n		"We jumped at the opportunity to work with Joan King when she contacted us about this unique speaker series that she had in mind\," says Kurt Terrio\, Owner of Midtown Arts Center. "Featuring renowned guest speakers and lecturers is another cultural activity we aim to offer through Midtown Arts Center. We believe that our patrons and other residents in the region will feel empowered and inspired through presentations like these and Joan's series is the perfect start."\n	\n		\n\n		Through numerous examples\, personal stories\, and scientific references\, the "Create Your NEW STORY" series is designed to show people how to clearly and easily interpret the truths that the human body teaches and how to live a truly fulfilling life.  King helps people to explore the landscape within\, working to identify their values and articulate them to be able to retire the old story of their life and write a new one to replace it.\n	\n		 \n	\n		King is a professor emerita at Tufts University School of Medicine (1979-1999) after serving as department chair (1992-1997). Prior to that\, King was a Dominican Sister in her native New Orleans for 11 years.
