Sincejoining\, Karsten has been stationed in Korea\, Germany and Italy\, and deployed to Kosovo and Afghanistan.In the recovery period of a down-spiraling economy\, the Loveland Army Career Center has the chance to showwhat the Army has to offer. From student loan repayment to exciting jobs\, recruiters like Staff Sgt. JoshuaVine\, a Colorado native and former football player for Western State\, said he tries to help those who come tohim to find out about Army programs. He can relate to Colorado Army recruits and show them that careers withthe military are just as competitive in salary and bonuses."The Army has done a lot for me\," said Vine. "I needed to grow up and handle responsibility better than justhang around town\, and the Army helped me grow up quickly."
