DESCRIPTION:Dear Northern Colorado Community Members\, In partnership with Loveland Housing Authority\, we are excited to bring to Loveland a brand new event for 2017\, the "Bell Ringer 4 Miler." This event will bring in funds to support The Edge. Specifically\, ten of the 70 apartments are being developed as "permanent supportive housing" for formerly homeless veterans with many supportive services provided by local agencies. You can expect this race to have a military feel to the day. There will even be a few unique elements to the race that are unlike anything in this area. Our community is one of the few remaining cities in the nation to follow the old tradition of ringing bells throughout town in the early morning hours of Veteran's Day. This race will mimic some of those old traditions to honor our nations veteran community. We are honored to be part of this event and look forward to the engagement of the families in Loveland.
