This year the musical world celebrates the 250th anniversary of his birth.\n\nOn Friday\, March 6\, the Loveland Orchestra will present an All-Beethoven Concert at the Good Shepherd Church\, 3429 N. Monroe Ave.\, Loveland\, CO 80538. A pre-concert discussion of the music by Conductor Louie Silvestri at 7:00 precedes the concert. The performance begins at 7:30pm.\n\nThe program includes Overture to Fidelio\, Beethoven's only opera\, the melodic\, enchanting Piano Concerto #5\, also known as the Emperor Concerto\, featuring concert pianist Julie King\, and the majestic and beloved Symphony #5. In the words of conductor Louie Silvestri this will be "a magical evening of great music from YOUR Loveland Orchestra! Sit back and enjoy our tribute to one of history's greatest composers!"\n\nThe Loveland Orchestra consists of over 60 musicians\, amateur and professional\, from Loveland and the surrounding area.
