DESCRIPTION:Make A Difference Day\, a national day of doing good\, is a week-long event in Larimer County due to the overwhelming support of our community. In 2012\, more than 2\,700 local residents volunteered to complete nearly 100 projects throughout the community. In fact\, United Way of Larimer County's Make A Difference Day is a nationally recognized event\, named one of the top ten in the nation by USA Weekend magazine in 2009 and runner up for the national All-Star award in 2012!\n\n\n\nUnited Way of Larimer County's 15th Annual Make A Difference Day events will take place October 21st-27th. If you are interested in volunteering as an individual or as a group\, visit www.UnitedWayofLarimerCounty.org to choose from over 100 projects. Projects range from tutoring youth\, to building shelters for animals\, to harvesting fresh produce to donat to the local food bank and more.\n\n\n\nOnline registration for Make A Difference Day opens September 10th at www.UnitedWayofLarimerCounty.org.
