DESCRIPTION:Women Awaken is hosting "Meet the Women In Politics "   to shine a light on the women in Larimer County who are working to improve our systems of governing.\n\nA panel discussion and informal mingle with: Candidates\, State Representatives\, School Board members\, CU & CSU governance representatives\, the Mayor of Ft. Collins.  The League of Women Voters and Emerge Colorado will be represented as well.\n\n \n\nIn the 136 years since its statehood\, Colorado has not elected a woman to the U.S. Senate\, as Governor of Colorado or mayor of Denver.
