Participants will receive a high-level overview about the process of planning for a social enterprise and what needs to be considered including market research\, financing\, business planning\, determining an appropriate business "model"\, measuring social impact and more. Participants will also learn about real-life examples of how social entrepreneurs and innovative nonprofits are using social enterprise strategies to help alleviate poverty\, provide job training and protect the environment around the world.
