DESCRIPTION:Artworks Loveland is proud to feature The Afternoon of Life by Ronda Stone. Join us on Friday\, April 12 at 6 pm to meet the artist and enjoy her collection of photography. Stone has compiled photographs that she has taken of the elderly and compiled them to combine her own artistic voice with the visual effects of aging on the human body. Stone says of her show\, "I wanted to give the elderly a voice because of my own age and where I live. I wanted to bring their needs to the forefront. Every day\, I hear the elderly worried about "falling"\, getting out in the cold\, getting a ride to the doctor\, getting their groceries\, wondering why their kids don't call  It is up to each individual how they age.  Do you want to be an angry old man/woman? Or do you want to enjoy your later years best you can?"  The show will be on view through June 1. Gallery hours are Tuesday through Friday from 1 pm to 4 pm\, and Saturdays from noon to 4 pm.
