Make A Difference Day\, a National Day of Service\, is a week-long event in Larimer County because of its popularity and continued success. This is the 17th year that United Way is organizing the event in Larimer County. In 2014\, 2\,314 volunteers completed 94 volunteer service projects throughout Larimer County. In total\, volunteers provided approximately 9\,576 hours of service. Projects included a wide range of activities\, from flood clean-up efforts\, to helping with an event for homeless and near-homeless residents\, to raking a neighbor?s leaves. There are service projects for people of all ages\, and varying skill levels. If you are interested in volunteering for a Make A Difference Day project\, visit www.uwaylc.org. Registration will open September 8th\, 2015.
