2012 Women of Vision Gala!
Join your colleagues and friends for our evening of GLITZ and GLAMOR to honor Women of Vision who have impacted our lives and our communities!
The evening begins with a champagne reception in the beautiful outdoor pavilion, with the lovely music of classical violinist Victoria Loran (Loran Strings) softly playing in the background. Enjoy a glass of champagne, compliments of the Marriott. You'll greet old friends and enjoy this casual hour of elegance.
At 6 the doors to the ballrooms open and the magical evening begins! Mayor Karen Weitkunat reads a Proclamation from the Ft. Collins City Council designating July 11th as "WOMEN OF VISION DAY."
Dr. Joan King (speaker, coach and author of The Code of Authentic Living: Cellular Wisdom, A Life On Purpose:Wisdom At Work and Cellular Wisdom For Women) shares her inspirational message to open the event.
Keynote speaker LeAnn Thieman (nurse, speaker and author of This Must Be My Brother, Balancing Life in Your "War Zones": A Guide to Physical, Mental, and Spiritual Health, and co-author of 12 Chicken Soup books) then shows us how to "Balance Your Life in the War Zone" as she sets the stage to introduce our amazing "Women of Vision." The focus of the evening is to honor twelve women of our community who are truly "Women of Vision:" These women have demonstrated visionary approaches in their professional and volunteer endeavors and have made a contribution to the well-being and empowerment of women locally, nationally, and internationally. They have enriched the lives of others with their courage, intelligence, talent and - of course - vision. They inspire us all through their innovation and leadership.
