Alpaca Breeders' 17th Annual Fall Festival, Holiday Boutique

The Alpaca Breeders of the Rockies (ABR) is presenting its 17^th Annual Fall Festival Show Saturday and Sunday, Nov. 2-3. The free event is being held at the recently remodeled Ranch Events Complex at the Larimer County Fairgrounds, 5280 Arena Circle in Loveland.

Colorado is home to about 500 alpaca farms. Alpaca breeders from Colorado and throughout the region will bring their animals to compete in the full halter and fleece shows, performance show, and fiber arts competition that are included in the Fall Festival.

“Whether you’re thinking about raising alpacas, are an aspiring fiber artist, or just curious about these animals, plan to join us for this fun, family event,” says Kathy Garrett, coordinator of ABR’s Fall Festival.  “The show’s holiday boutique is a great opportunity for people to do early holiday shopping for luxurious alpaca fiber clothing such as warm socks; felted, knit and crocheted scarves; mittens and gloves; hats; shawls; sweaters; wooden alpaca-themed gifts; Alpaca-opoly game; rake looms; area rugs; bird nesters; rovings and yarn; gourmet olive oil; luxury lotions; and other unique gifts.

The 17^th Annual Fall Festival Alpaca Show is free and open to the public from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. on Saturday, Nov. 2 and Sunday, Nov. 3. The Ranch is located directly adjacent to I-25, just north of Highway 34, in Loveland. To reach The Ranch, exit I-25 at Crossroads Blvd., Exit 259.
