Alzheimer's Association Memories in the Making Art Auction

Professional artwork donated by local artists will be paired with framed watercolors created by those with Alzheimer?s and other forms of dementia. Alzheimer?s Association Memories in the Making programs are facilitated by trained staff and volunteers in more than care facilities throughout Northern Colorado. This year watercolors were once again selected by a jury of local professional artists from the more than 4,000 pieces created in Memories in the Making art programs. In addition, original works created by local professional artists on wooden art palettes are being for the auction. Proceeds from the silent and live auctions, ticket sales and sponsorship all go to support Alzheimer?s programs and services provided to families at no cost as well as to research in order to develop better treatments and to eventually find a cure.
