The Loveland Chamber of Commerce, the driving force of business for Loveland, and the Downtown Loveland Association (DLA), have joined forces to present a business-focused public city council candidate forum. This public forum will be held from 6:00 – 8:00 p.m., Wed. Oct. 7 in the Loveland City Council Chambers, located at 500 E. 3rd Street.
The forum will focus on the concerns and issues impacting Loveland’s business community. Moderated by Kristin Tatti, business reporter with the Northern Colorado Business Report, this forum will follow a similar structure, and have parallel ground rules and guidelines as established by the League of Women Voters.
“In every election, the voice of the business community must be elevated. Business sustainability and growth increase job opportunities across the city and in this economic climate, Loveland cannot afford not to address this issue,” said Brian Willms, president and CEO, Loveland Chamber of Commerce. “Downtown Loveland is an essential component to the city’s overall vitality; therefore we found it important to partner with the DLA to bring this type of forum to our investors and Loveland’s business community.”
This forum is free to attend and open to the public.
