Candle Lighting Vigil Held for Children Who Have Died
The Worldwide Candle Lighting Vigil to remember and honor the memory of beloved children who have died will be held Sunday, December 12 at the McKee Conference & Wellness Center at 6:30 p.m.
The second Sunday in December is National Children’s Memorial Day. The candle lighting vigil is part of a worldwide event in which candles are lit in every time zone around the world at 7:00 p.m., beginning in New Zealand. For a 24-hour period, candles burn in remembrance of children who have died.

Location
The vigil will begin in the McKee Conference & Wellness Center located at 2000 Boise Avenue in Loveland. Participants will gather for an invocation then follow a bagpipe processional to the candle lighting, to be held at the Angel for Lost Children statue on the McKee Wellness and Nature Walk.
