Community Awareness Event on Identity Theft

GrowSecure Inc. Insurance and Financial Services will be hosting a community awareness event on identity theft in our community.
 
Identity Theft and how to prevent it (particularly for seniors, but all ages will be covered)

Who: Everyone is welcome. Officer  Mary Marchio will be speaking and Apex Shredding will be doing the shredding for the community
 
Why: Identity theft is a big problem these days with so many citizens using credit cards and email. However, seniors are targeted more due to their naivety and vulnerability. Officer Mary Marchio will be speaking about this issue, and will be covering the scams in our own community right now. Apex Shredding will be there for all community members who would like to bring paper that they’ve been waiting to shred.
 
 
This event will be beneficial to all who attend. Please consider promoting this upcoming event. Officer Marchio is excited about speaking and Apex Shredding is excited to be a part of this as well. Educating our community, especially seniors, on identity theft is important to lower crime and to increase awareness around northern Colorado about what is happening right here in our own town. This event will also allow people to dig out all their old files and papers they’ve been saving since tax season to shred, at NO cost to them!
