This month, we’re excited to welcome Priscilla Spooner, a local insurance professional, business owner, and active member of our Northern Colorado community.

Originally from Costa Rica, Priscilla moved to Colorado in the fall of 2000 and has called it home ever since. Outside of work, she loves spending time with her blended family, traveling, enjoying the outdoors, making new friends, and volunteering within the community.

Priscilla began her career in the insurance industry in 2003 and quickly found a profession she loved. During her time with Farmers Insurance, she earned multiple awards and recognitions, including being named Top Agency Producer for the four-state region—twice!

But in 2022, Priscilla made a big career shift.

After years of working within the traditional insurance model, she decided she wanted to focus less on corporate production goals and more on what mattered most to her: the needs of her clients. That decision led her to open her own agency under a brokerage model, giving her the ability to provide more options and personalized solutions to the people she serves.

At dc Connect, Priscilla will share more about her journey, the lessons she’s learned throughout more than 20 years in the insurance industry, and what inspired her to take a different path in business.
