Three-Time GRAMMY® Winner to Perform Holiday Favorites ***
 
Singer, actress, author, Debby Boone, who earned instant fame with the hit song “You Light Up My Life” and the GRAMMY® Award for Best New Artist of the Year, is bringing her “Christmas Memories” show this holiday season to Johnstown’s own Candlelight Dinner Playhouse.
 “We’re very excited to be bringing the world-class talent of Debby Boone to Candlelight Dinner Playhouse as part of our new Artist Series,” says Dave Clark, Candlelight’s General Manager.  “She represents the caliber of entertainment we’ve been bringing to Northern Colorado with our Broadway Musicals since we opened four years ago.”
In her own words Debby describes the show as “a big musical Christmas card from my family to yours.” “I think people like to focus on family during the holidays and this show is full of all kinds of happy memories,” Boone says. 
Boone delivers her “musical Christmas card” during Christmas week in two performances at the Candlelight Dinner Playhouse Monday and Tuesday, December 19 and 20.  Doors open at 6pm for dinner seating, and the show begins at 7:30pm. 
The true spirit of Christmas comes to life when Debby performs a variety of great music, traditional Christmas songs such as “Christmas Time is Here,” “Santa Claus is Coming to Town,” “Have Yourself a Merry Little Christmas,” and “White Christmas,” the classic song from the movie which starred Debby’s late mother-in-law, Rosemary Clooney, and shares stories of family memories that make this a perfect Christmas Celebration.
Debby opens her heart as she shares her very own “Christmas Memories” through stories, video and family photos. Debby is one of four daughters born to entertainment icon and entrepreneur, Pat Boone and Shirley (Foley) Boone, the daughter of country star Red Foley.
In addition to holiday favorites, Debby performs the hit that earned her instant fame and the GRAMMY® Award for Best New Artist of the Year, “You Light Up My Life.”  Since “You Light Up My Life” Boone has won two additional GRAMMY® Awards and seven GRAMMY® nominations. She will also perform songs from her critically acclaimed Concord Records album, Reflections of Rosemary.
