MEGAN BURTT discovered her father's long-lost guitar in the attic and taught herself to play. By 16, she had won Colorado's statewide Colgate Country Music Competition. She graduated from Berklee College of Music, received an honorable mention at the New York Songwriters Circle Competition, and was a top five finalist in the 2008 Telluride Bluegrass Competition.
