Issues On Tap
Due to a scheduling conflict, our January 20th Issues on Tap at 4:30 will be held at Grimm Brothers Brewery, 815 14th St. SW B100, Loveland, CO 80537
Loveland is five years away from the closure of our region’s coal-fired electricity generation plant. Rawhide has supplied uninterrupted power generation for several decades. And wind and solar generation capacity are very much on the rise.
But, with these changes, we are seeing increases in residential and commercial utility bills.
This month we’d like to have a creative conversation on how you envision things moving forward in the days and years ahead. The best ideas and understanding come when all of us get together to listen to all the voices in the room. We’ll be joined by Javier Camacho, Director of public and external affairs for Platte River Power Authority and Melie Vincent, Chief Power Officer. We’ll also look at the very substantial Black Hollow solar array that recently began construction in Severance.
Come join us on Monday January 20th at 4:30 for our next Issues On Tap.
