Ladies Dessert Tea at the new Brookside Gardens Event Center
Loveland, Colo., August 16, 2010 – On Friday, August 27 from 7:00 – 9:00 pm women from around Northern Colorado are invited to attend a Ladies Dessert Tea at the beautiful new Brookside Gardens Event Center in Berthoud.
The Brookside Gardens Event Center was made available to Nightlight Christian Adoptions after the unfortunate cancellation of a wedding to be held there. With two weeks to prepare, Nightlight decided to pull together a fundraising event for our Tender Hearts Babies Home in Uganda.
In a lovely evening garden setting girlfriends, mothers and daughters will enjoy a variety of finger desserts, tea and coffee while listening to northern Colorado harpist Ms. Hillary Schefter’s repertoire of music. African bead jewelry, which is very popular now, will be available during the event to benefit the Home. Registration is available online and the cost is $25.00 per person. Corporate sponsorships of tables for eight are also being encouraged and accepted.
Not long ago Uganda was among the most troubled nations in the world. But following the efforts of many people and organizations, it seems a new day has come for this African country. Building on the progress that others have worked so hard to accomplish, Nightlight established the Tender Hearts Babies Home in the capital Kampala. Tender Hearts is now licensed and is accepting babies and toddlers who are receiving loving care.
Nightlight has been providing adoption services since 1959. Children have become a part of their forever family through domestic, international and embryo adoption services. The Snowflakes® Frozen Embryo Adoption program began in 1997 as the only organization of its kind to facilitate the donation and adoption of frozen embryos for family building. Over 235 babies have been born through the Snowflakes unique adoption alternative pioneered by Nightlight.
