The Loveland Orchestra continues its “Second Nature” themed season with a concert on Friday, October 29, at 7:30pm, at Mountain View High School Auditorium located at 3500 Mountain Lion Dr., Loveland, CO. At 7:00pm Conductor Louie Silvestri begins the evening with a discussion of the music in the program.
Highlighting the concert will be the performance by Concertmaster Shawn Murphy of Vivaldi’s Concerto No. 3 in F major, “Autumn,” from the composer’s Four Seasons. The program also includes The Water Goblin by Dvorák, Ride of the Valkyries from Die Walküre by Wagner, Night on Bald Mountain by Mussorgsky, Funeral March for a Marionette by Gounod, and Sorcerer’s Apprentice by Dukas.
Come enjoy the music of the season. Per a recent Public Health Order issued by the Public Health Director for the Larimer County Department of Health and Environment everyone in the concert hall must wear a face mask.
