INTERESTED in pursuing a career in the medical field?  Poudre Valley Health System is hosting a Medical Careers Information Open House – Wednesday, September 14, 2011 from 2pm to 3:30 pm, Longs Peak (basement level) at Medical Center of the Rockies located at 2500 Rocky Mountain Avenue in Loveland.

This informational session will focus on several healthcare career opportunities including, but not limited to Radiology, Paramedics, Transcription, CV Lab, MCR OR, Cardiac ICU, Mountain Crest Behavioral Health, Clinic Medical Assistant, Hospitality & Environmental Services, Sterile Processing, Lab, and Organizational Development. Local and technical colleges will be on-hand to discuss various educational opportunities. Free to the public, this session will offer career information from Poudre Valley Health System professionals regarding:

• Required educational background for various healthcare positions
• Determining factors in career choices
