Project Linus Fundraiser & Volunteer Celebration

The Hillcrest, a senior living community in Loveland, will hold a fundraiser for Project Linus. Project Linus is a national non-profit that provides handmade blankets to children who are hospitalized due to illness or injury. 

Senior residents at The Hillcrest volunteer throughout the year, creating quilts that they lovingly measure, cut and sew, then donate to Project Linus. The event on May 27 will not only serve as a venue to invite the public to donate funds and materials to this important cause, it will also be a celebration to honor those volunteers.  Light refreshments will be served and live piano music, by Rick Griggs, will be enjoyed.

The public is invited to attend this event and help support volunteers’ efforts to continue making the blankets that provide warmth and comfort to children in need.  The Hillcrest is proud to be a drop-off site for Project Linus for both checks and materials. Monetary donations are tax deductible (please make checks out to Northern Colorado Blankets), and they can be mailed or delivered to The Hillcrest at 535 N. Douglas Avenue in Loveland.
