Ribbon Cutting: Colorado Christian University New Location
Same Town, New Address: Colorado Christian University’s Northern Colorado Center Moves to Larger Facility.
Construction wrapped in late February, and classes and normal business operations began the week of March 1. The Loveland Chamber of Commerce will hold a ribbon-cutting ceremony at the Center, with light refreshments at 3:30 p.m. followed by the ceremony at 4:30 p.m. The University will also host an on-site prayer dedication on April 19, 5:00-6:30 p.m., featuring CCU President Bill Armstrong as keynote speaker.
With its main campus anchored in Lakewood, Colo., CCU operates multiple centers
throughout the state to serve students enrolled in its College of Adult and Graduate
Studies. In addition to Loveland—which enrolls students from throughout northern
Colorado and even southern Wyoming—there are centers in Colorado Springs,
Grand Junction, Northglenn, and the Denver Tech Center.
While a growing number of CCU’s adult and graduate students sign up for onlinebased
programs convenient to their work and family schedules, others still prefer live
interaction in traditional classroom settings. The Northern Colorado Center’s new
facility provides larger classrooms, computer and presentation technologies, highspeed
wireless access, and more office and work space for faculty and staff.
“We are honored to serve the greater Loveland and northern Colorado communities,
and we look forward to doing so for many years to come in our brand new center,”
Armstrong stated. “CCU is delighted to move into our new center. The classrooms
and offices are perfect: More elbow room, immediate access to I-25, and great
parking.”
