Stripped: Fractured Landscapes Opening
Wilson contemplates the threatened existence of the locations she captures through the lens. The compilation of photographs are deconstructed and reconstructed to recreate new fractured landscapes addressing the impermanence that human’s physical impact on the environment has created through climate change and radical manipulation of natural resources. Wilson emphasizes the effect of humankind on nature in these works, and the ever-changing visuals that exist in the environment. @monthofphotography
