The Young Victoria is a film based on the accession to the throne and the turbulent early reign during the 1830’s of Queen Victoria of the United Kingdom and her marriage to Prince Albert. Starring Emily Blunt and Rupert Friend, with a strong supporting cast. The Young Victoria won Best Achievement in Costume Design at the 2010 Academy Awards. It was released in 2009 and Directed by Jean-Marc Vallée.
