United Way of Larimer County Board Bank Training

United Way of Larimer County?s Volunteer Center recruits and trains community professionals to serve as board and committee members. The Board Bank program matches volunteers? interests with a variety of board opportunities and assists in matching volunteers with the needs of local nonprofits. Currently, there are more than 40 nonprofits in Larimer County that need skilled, passionate and enthusiastic volunteers to serve on their boards.

All interested volunteers looking to serve on a board are encouraged to attend. The cost of the training is $20 and includes an overview of the expectations and general policies of serving on a Board of Directors, provides the volunteer with a book on the basic responsibilities of a board member, and allows the volunteer to learn more about possible nonprofits to be paired with.
