Experienced family medicine physician expands approachable care at Banner Health Clinic in East Loveland

LOVELAND, Colo. (Dec. 16, 2025) – Banner Health is pleased to welcome Brett Masayesva, MD, a board-certified family medicine physician, to Banner Health Clinic in East Loveland. Dr. Masayesva brings two decades of experience providing comprehensive primary care for adults and families, with a special focus on managing chronic conditions and preventive care.

Dr. Masayesva joined the clinic in August 2025, as part of Banner’s continued commitment to expanding access to high-quality primary care in Northern Colorado. Originally from Arizona, Dr. Masayesva earned his undergraduate degree in neuroscience at Stanford University in 1995 and his medical degree from the University of Arizona College of Medicine in 2000. He completed a residency in family medicine at the University of Arizona College of Medicine Tucson in 2007. He is board-certified in family medicine by the American Board of Family Medicine.

Before joining Banner, Dr. Masayesva practiced in northern Wisconsin and most recently with CommonSpirit Health in Longmont, Colo. Over the years, he has developed a particular expertise in caring for adults managing multiple chronic conditions, including diabetes, hypertension and heart disease. Dr. Masayesva’s decision to pursue medicine was rooted in a lifelong desire to help people and make a difference in their lives.

“The most rewarding moments for me are when new patients come in who have been through the ringer with multiple providers and tell me, ‘I think I found my guy,’” Dr. Masayesva said. “That connection—when patients finally feel heard and cared for—that’s what keeps me going.”

Dr. Masayesva is known for his personable and present approach to care. His philosophy of care is to build a trusting relationship with each of his patients, which he does by taking the extra steps to reinforce human connection and making sure that each patient leaves feeling like they got what they needed. Dr. Masayesva says he is energized by the collaborative strength and future of the Banner East Loveland clinic.

“There’s great potential here for a robust practice,” Dr. Masayesva said. “Between my colleagues and me, we bring decades of experience to the table, which isn’t always the case. Together, we’re building something meaningful for this community, and Banner has plans for continued growth to meet that demand.”
He and his family reside in Berthoud, Colo., where he enjoys playing golf, basketball and exploring Colorado’s mountain communities.

Dr. Masayesva is now accepting new patients age 10 and older at the Banner Health Clinic located at 1625 Foxtrail Dr., Loveland. To schedule an appointment, call (970) 500-2244.
