MeadKrieger Meadery Wins Big at the 2025 Colorado Governor’s Cup

Loveland, CO — MeadKrieger Meadery is proud to announce that all seven of its handcrafted meads (honey wines) earned medals at this year’s prestigious Colorado Governor’s Cup Wine Competition. The Governor’s Cup, hosted annually by the Colorado Wine Industry Development Board, showcases the best wines, ciders, and meads produced in Colorado, with entries judged by a panel of industry experts, sommeliers, and winemakers from across the country.

This year’s winners from MeadKrieger include:

  • Olena (Orange Blossom Session Mead) – Gold Medal

  • Traditional Oak-Barrel Aged Mead – Silver Medal

  • Ragnarbaer (Raspberry) – Silver Medal

  • Oderir (Spiced) – Silver Medal

  • Baldrbaer (Blueberry) – Bronze Medal

  • Kvasir (Cherry) – Bronze Medal
