Loveland residents will be faced with the upcoming November ballot issue on implementing a lodging tax for guests who visit our city. The Loveland Chamber of Commerce’s Business InSights Series presents the panel, ’Lodging Tax - why and why now’ featuring Mayor Gene Pielin, Gary Wheat, executive director of the Longmont Area Visitors Association and Cynthia Eichler with the Foothills Mall in Fort Collins to discuss the benefits and forecasts for the city of Loveland and a view into how Longmont is doing since it implemented a lodging tax on the last ballot.
